Voting.

The Cause - Are you looking for a fundraising opportunity?
Tara's goal is to raise $10,000 before she retires. She will do that at various fundraising events by allowing people to take pictures of her. Her owner, Pat Deere, will personally donate 60% of whatever she earns towards the cause. For Tara, that means at least half of that will be given to the Art Bra Auction in Tecumseh which happens in the Fall of each year. The other half will go to whatever organization has invited her to their fund raising event. 40% will stay with her creater to help fund future mannequins for other great causes. If you have an event you would like to invite Tara to, or if you have a great women's cause you would like a mannequin created for, contact Pat Deere at Pictures In Glass and The Log Furniture Divison @ info@PicturesInGlass.net .
Tara's Birth
There were a few events that could mark the day of her birth, one was the River Raisin Festival in Blissfield, MI that takes place in July each year.
The other was a class given to adults from the Hope Community Center by the Lenawee Council For The Visual Arts.
The the truth is she probably began her life as she is known today, when the Birmingham, MI Jacobsons Department Store closed some time after 2007. My husband, who owns Deere Electric, Inc. was doing some demo work in the building. He found Tara in a dumpster and thought he would bring her home for target practice. Of course, the artist in me knew there was a better idea so I saved her. From there on, she became a part of the family and she is now known as Tara Deere. The exact date, is now known.
